Ref. dated 2.10.2023, Mrs. Pavla, 45 years old, completed all 10 sessions.

In March 2023, I started going to Rolfing/Rolf therapy with the wonderful Andrea Březinová. I wanted to do something for my body so that I could fully return to the saddle of my horse. After giving birth by cesarean section 8 years ago, I felt that my pelvic area was not functioning properly and I felt very insecure in the saddle. So I wanted to try to see if Rolf therapy could help with that.
I am a manual therapist for animals myself, so I am more sensitive than the average mortal.
I completed 10 sessions and 1 session focused on relieving the scar after a cesarean section.
Some sessions were very challenging for me, especially the head work which turned out to be essential and very difficult for me to tolerate. This was probably related to a major childhood injury when I fell down a long flight of stairs and broke my head.
Overall, some parts of the therapy were quite painful for me, but thanks to a great therapist, everything was manageable and improved.
After six sessions, I needed to change from carrying a bag over my shoulder to a backpack. I was bothered by the weight on only one side.
The main WOW effect came right after the Caesarean scar was released. I suddenly felt like I was really standing on my feet and that my whole body felt different. It was as if all the pieces of the puzzle had finally fallen into place and all the hours I had worked had come together into one whole.
Surprisingly, the scar relaxation also had an impact on my mental health (I have suffered from postpartum depression since the birth of my daughter, I have tried all possible therapies, except for chemical medications. Long-term use of the Bemer device probably helped me the most).
After the scar from the cesarean section was released through Rolf therapy, my relationship with my daughter has also changed significantly...suddenly we can do things that were previously unimaginable to me. We were not able to go out with my horse, for example, because I was terribly nervous, I was afraid of everything and I was incredibly "suffocating" the little one. And after the scar was released, it went completely by itself, without any excessive worries, fears, or nervousness.
Another crucial area is riding my horse. I had panic attacks about getting on after a previous horse threw me off several times right after I got on. After the scar loosened and all the hours I had worked on were connected, I was able to ride my current horse outside for the first time outside our regular environment. I still have a lot of work to do, but I already feel a lot better.
Thank you very much.
